Prof Arendt is currently the professor for cereal and beverages science at University College Cork and the head of a group of 25 research staff and PhD students. Prof Arendt has published over 400 peer-reviewed papers was listed as one of the most highly cited researchers in world in 2017 and 2018 (Clarivate Analytics). She has currently an H-Index of 66 (Google Scholar)
